Hands-on experience to prepare you for success

While you’ll have ample opportunities to gain experience during flight training at our facility in New Bedford, we encourage all bachelor of science in aviation students to also pursue an internship. Our students have gained valuable work experience with Delta Airlines, Magellan Jets, Raytheon, the Mass Port Authority and the Rhode Island Airport Corporation.

You will also pursue studies specific to the flight training or aviation management degree concentrations or your minor in aviation science. Students in the flight training concentration begin flying immediately with the Summer Start program. First-year flight students are able to develop their skills before the fall semester even starts.
